| NEW WORSHIP EXPERIENCE |
|
Would you like to help create a new worship ministry
experience at LCR? I am looking for help in my quest
to start a Sunday evening worship service focused on
encouraging attendance among the local young adult population
(ages 18-30). The service will feature folk- and taize-influenced
hymns, open discussions of the Gospel, and free-trade
coffee served weekly. My goal is to have this ministry
in place for the start of Advent. Any and all help will
be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your continuing
support of the youth and music ministries we have established,
and thank you for considering this new opportunity to
expand our horizons!

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to sponsor
a new home for a family in a FEMA trailer. SO FAR, WE

THE GENESIS
GROUP IS BORN!
Genesis is about beginnings and this group
seeks to develop relationships and to provide fellowship
activities for people who are starting their adult lives,
beginning careers, beginning to be homeowners, beginning
to be parents, beginning marriages, beginning new friendships,
and beginning a new stage in their lives as disciples.
It targets adults in their 20’s and 30’s (and their children),
but is open to people of all ages. Our goal is to get
together every other month and to alternate between “grown-ups
