Saturday's Miracle: Serving A Free Hot Breakfast!

Serving a FREE hot nutritious mouth watering breakfast every Saturday morning for members of our community who are struggling financially.

When: Saturdays from 9am-11am.

Where: Fellowship Hall--lower level (handicapped entrance at the north circle drive) Menu: Sausage, eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, muffins, pancakes, hash browns, fruit, coffee & juice.

Our inspiration is the story of the miracle feeding from the Gospel According to John 6:1-15 in which Jesus challenges the disciples to feed a crowd of 5000 people and then provides the miracle that allows 5 loaves of bread and 3 fish to feed everyone, with 12 baskets full left over! God is working a miracle among us, too!

We always need cooks, greeters, servers, table hosts and help with cleanup too. To volunteer please contact the church at 913-649-0438 or email worship@lcrpv.org. You can also make a donation by clicking "Give Online" on the page menu, or just send a check to Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and note in the memo "Saturday's Miracle." 100% of your donation will be used to purchase food and kitchen supplies.
