"Musical Expressions"-Fall Preschool Music Groups

Musical Expressions is a fun, interactive group where children ages 2-5 and their caregivers will participate in a variety of music-making activities to stimulate creativity, cognitive development, and socialization. Each class will be based on a children’s book. We will read/sing the story then participate in music activities that reinforce the theme. We will conclude the class with a snack and time for participants to get to know each other better.
Children Can Be Worship Leaders Too!
Submitted by apridgen on Mon, 09/06/2010 - 18:57Young children are encouraged to be worship leaders by assisting their parents or other family members with ushering, greeting, and by serving as Basket Holders during Holy Communion.
Basket Holders are children under age 10 who hold a basket to collect the small plastic individual cups during our 8:00AM and 10:30AM worship services. Our youngest members, even our two year olds, really enjoy helping in this way and we love seeing their smiles.

Nursery and Toddler Room
Welcome to Lutheran Church of the Resurrection’s Nursery and Toddler Room! While all children are welcome in our worship services, we understand that little ones appreciate a chance to worship God in their own way--and parents sometimes need a break.
