Organ Dedication

Organ Dedication Service

Lutheran Church of the Resurrection is celebrating the installation of their new state of the art Rodgers 588 three manual organ with a Dedication Service on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 2:00pm.

This will be a service spotlighting no less than 9 organists from around the world including:

Neil Weston, Royal Academy of Music, London, England; former organist Chelmsford Cathedral, England and St. Steven’s, Washington D.C.

Dr. Jan Kraybill organ conservator, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Kansas
City, Mo; principal organist Community of Christ Auditorium & Temple, Independence, Mo; and former organist Lutheran Church of the Resurrection

Dr. Mario Pearson, formerly of Cape Town, South Africa; organist Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Kansas City, Mo

John Schaefer, organist Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City, Mo

Thomas Zachacz, formerly of Manhattan, New York; organist Redeemer Lutheran Church, Olathe, Ks

Dr. Wayne Smith, organist Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Overland Park, Ks

William T. Stewart, organist Immanuel Lutheran Church, Kansas City, Mo; founder of the Bach Cantata Series

Richard Jeric, organist Lutheran Church of the Resurrection;  currently working on his Artist Certificate at University of Missouri – Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance; Midwest Chamber Ensemble
